More than 50% of women suffer from thinning hair as they get older. Unfortunately, those beautiful and thick locks we used to have become lifeless, fine and brittle.

While searching for hair vitamins to prevent hair loss, we came across the Phytophanere dietary supplement, one of the popular phyto hair products.

The hair vitamin is targeted to solve women’s thinning hair issues according to the manufacturer’s website. So we decided to take a further look at this product and gather what specific benefits you can expect for your hair (Read more about 5 recommended hair supplements designed for improving female hair loss). Let’s get started:

Phyto Phytophanere reviews

The Phytophanere vitamins’ formula is focused on providing women with healthier hair and nails. The first thing we noticed about the Phyto supplements is that the brand takes a bit different approach when it comes to formulating their ingredients. Many of the hair supplements you see over the counter use botanical herbs like horsetail and bamboo extracts to promote hair growth.

On the other hand, the ingredients for the Phyto hair vitamins are all about the careful use of natural oils including wheat germ oil (as a source of Vitamin A) and Omega 3 & 6 as some of the active ingredients.

Phytophanere vs. Biotin

Biotin is included in Phyto dietary supplement’s formula, which is 0.15 mg per serving (= 150 mcg).  According to Everyday Health, there is no specific recommended allowance for biotin, but the general rule is 30 mcg for over age 18. This means that Phytophanere Dietary Supplement for Hair & Nails covers sufficient Biotin daily dose.

Clinical study results

Don’t you love when companies do clinical tests for their supplement products; it gives added confidence when making a purchase decision.

The company tested the Phyto Phytophanere supplements on 20 volunteers who were experiencing thinning and damaged hair. After 90 days of taking the supplement twice a day, 95% of the participants saw visibly improvement in hair quality. While the sample size is pretty small, it’s still better than nothing!

Phytophanere side effects

There have been no major side effects reported from people who have taken the supplements (considering the Phyto pills are mostly formulated with natural essential oils). However, we read from different websites that there were number of women noticing their skin breaking out easily due to an increase in oil production on their faces.

Can the Phytophanere dietary supplement help with hair loss?

The first hair loss symptom many women see is the wider parts and visible hairlines. When you leave it untreated, it’s likely to lead to diffused thinning hair all over the scalp.

There are a quite number of people claiming that Phyto hair vitamin make a big difference when it comes to decrease in hair shedding as little as a week after using it (the direction indicates 2 caplets everyday preferably in the morning). Some noticed new growth around their hairlines as well as thickness and general volume.

Our Pick
Phyto Phytophanere Hair Supplement
Phyto Phytophanere Hair Supplement contains essential fatty acids and various vitamins from natural sources to promote healthy hair growth.

There are also others mentioning that they noticed a slight to no difference improving their hair thinning. Similar to any other hair supplements, it appears that Phyto vitamins work for some people (especially the “less falling-out” part), but not for everyone.
